NTPC is inviting applications for the following positions:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Engineer (Electrical Erection):

1. Qualification: B.E/B. Tech Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
2. Experience: Minimum 04 years of post-qualification executive experience in Electrical Erection at the site in the field of Substation and transmission erection work, Electrical equipment (such as Motor, HT/LT Panel or switchgear/ HT/LT Cable laying), Relay and Protections, Electrical Control System, HT/LT Transformer in major infrastructure projects like Thermal, Hydro, Renewable, Nuclear power projects, Transmission, Refinery, Fertilizers, Petrochemicals, Steel, Cement.

2. Engineer (Mechanical Erection):

2. Qualification: B.E/B. Tech Degree in Mechanical/Production with at least 50% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
3. Experience: Minimum 04 years of post-qualification executive experience in Mechanical Erection at the site in the area of Pressure parts, Heavy equipment installations, Material handling systems, Steam Turbine, Steam Generator in major infrastructure projects like Thermal, Hydro, Nuclear power projects, Refinery, Fertilizers, Petrochemicals, Steel, Cement.

3. Engineer (Civil Construction):

3. Qualification: B.E/B. Tech Degree in Civil/Construction with at least 50% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
4. Experience: Minimum 04 years of post-qualification executive experience in Construction at the site in the area of foundation works of vibratory structure, Piling work, high-rise industrial structures, general Civil work in major infrastructure projects like Thermal, Hydro, Nuclear power projects, Refinery, Fertilizers, Petrochemicals, Steel, Cement.

Age Limit:

1. Engineer (Electrical Erection) – 35 Years
2. Engineer (Mechanical Erection) – 35 Years
3. Engineer (Civil Construction) – 35 Years

The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s), and for Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Government Rules. Refer to the NPTC official Notification 2024 for more details.

Salary Details:

1. Engineer (Electrical Erection) – E2 Grade/ IDA (Rs. 50,000 – 160,000)
2. Engineer (Mechanical Erection) – E2 Grade/ IDA (Rs. 50,000 – 160,000)
3. Engineer (Civil Construction) – E2 Grade/ IDA (Rs. 50,000 – 160,000)

Selection Process: NTPSC may follow this process to select candidates:

1. Short Listing
2. Interview

Application Fee:

• General/EWS/OBC category: Rs. 300/- (non-refundable)
• SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category and female candidates: No registration fee. Payment can be made online or offline. Details are provided on the NPTC official website.
