RITES Draftsman Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

  1. Supervisor cum Construction Manager:
  • Minimum Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
    • Total Experience/Relevant Experience for Graduate Engineer: Three (03) years of experience in Water Supply/Wastewater Infrastructure Projects.
  • Draftsman:
  • Minimum Qualification: Matriculation plus ITI Tradesmanship/Apprenticeship Certificate in Civil Engineering Assistant/Draughtsman (Civil)/Surveyor/CAD Operator in Autocad/Civil/Mechanical/Fitter/Machinist Turner Trade.
    • Total Experience/Relevant Experience for Graduate Engineer: One (01) year of experience in Autocad.
  • Quality Assurance & Control Engineer:
  • Minimum Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field OR Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Power Supply/Instrumentation and Control/Industrial Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation/Applied Electronics/Digital Electronics/Power Electronics Engineering or any combination thereof in part or whole, or a related field OR Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology in Mechanical/Production/Production & Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Railways/Mechatronics & Automobile or any combination thereof in part or whole, or a related field.
    • Total Experience/Relevant Experience for Graduate Engineer: Three (03) years of experience in Water Supply Project Discipline, specific experience:
  • Civil Engineer: Experience in Water testing/Overhead tanks/Underground Water tanks/or similar experience.Mechanical/Electrical Engineer: Experience in testing of pipes, motors, switches, fitting, or similar nature of work.
  • Field Quality Control Engineer:
  • Minimum Qualification: Full-time Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or a related field.
    • Total Experience/Relevant Experience for Graduate Engineer: Five (05) years of experience in Water Supply/Wastewater Infrastructure Projects, Discipline-specific experience:
  • Civil Engineer: Experience in Water testing/Overhead tanks/Underground Water tanks/or similar nature of work.Mechanical/Electrical Engineer: Experience in testing of pipes, motors, switches, fitting & factory inspection of electrical & mechanical equipment or similar nature of work.

Age Limit: (As on 01.06.2023)

  1. Supervisor cum Construction Manager: 40 Years
  2. Draftsman: 40 Years
  3. Quality Assurance & Control Engineer: 40 Years
  4. Field Quality Control Engineer: 40 Years

The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs), and for Ex-Servicemen as per the Government of India rules. Candidates’ relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Government rules. Please refer to the RITES official Notification 2023 for more information.

Remuneration:

  1. Supervisor cum Construction Manager: Rs. 24,040/-
  2. Draftsman: Rs. 14,317/-
  3. Quality Assurance & Control Engineer: Rs. 17,853/-
  4. Field Quality Control Engineer: Rs. 30,000-1,20,000/-
