Position and Vacancies: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is inviting applications for the following position:

Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC Junior Analyst:
Educational Qualification (as of 21.09.2023): Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications, recognized by the University Grants Commission:
- A graduate in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry with a minimum of two years of experience in drug analysis.
- Pharmacy graduates and postgraduates in Chemistry with Analytical Chemistry as a specific subject may have their experience requirement reduced to one year.
Note: The prescribed educational qualification for this post should be obtained in the following sequence: 10th + HSC (or equivalent) + Bachelor’s degree + Postgraduate degree, as required under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016.
Age Limit (as of 01.07.2023):
- For SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs, and Destitute Widows of All Categories: No maximum age limit (minimum age is 18 years).
- For ‘OTHERS’ (applicants not belonging to the mentioned categories): Maximum age limit is 32 years.
Note: The maximum age limit for direct recruitment has been increased by 2 years as per G.O (Ms). No.91, Human Resources Management (S) Department, dated 13.09.2021. “No maximum age limit” means applicants should not exceed 60 years of age on the notification date or at the time of selection/appointment.
Age Concessions:
- Persons with Benchmark Disability: Up to 10 years of age concession.
- Ex-servicemen (Others): Maximum age limit is 50 years.
Salary Details: Junior Analyst: Rs. 19,500 – Rs. 71,900 (Level-8)
Selection Process for TNPSC Junior Analyst 2023: The selection process for TNPSC Junior Analyst may include the following steps:
- Written Exam (Objective Type) (CBT Method)
- Certificate Verification
Application Fee/Exam Fee for TNPSC Junior Analyst:
- Registration Fee: Rs. 150 for One Time Registration (valid for 5 years, exemptions apply).
- Examination Fee: Rs. 100 (unless fee exemption is claimed).
Note: Payment can be made online via Net Banking / Credit card / Debit card during the online application process.
Important Information:
- Linking Aadhaar number with One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory.
- OTR is valid for five years and needs renewal after this period.
- Fee exemptions are available for specific categories.
