Description About the Job

Sutherland is currently looking for a Lead – R2R / General Accounting who is detail-oriented and dependable. Our team is made up of dedicated and diligent professionals who are committed to achieving success. As the Lead – R2R / General Accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to the General Accounting domain. This includes creating and booking journal entries, performing month-end close activities, capitalizing and maintaining fixed assets, managing intercompany accounting, reconciling bank and investment accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of general ledger reconciliations and fixed asset reconciliations.

You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving any reconciling items, producing corporate reports, managing internal and external audits, and ensuring compliance with SOX regulations. To be considered for this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In addition, you should possess strong IT skills, including proficiency in ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, or Workday Financial, and MS Office, as well as experience in stakeholder management, quality lean/process improvement, project management, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

This position is work from home, and you must have a stable broadband internet connection to work on large files, as well as a quiet space to attend video calls. The work schedule is in the US Pacific Time Zone, from 10 PM to 7 AM IST.
