Eligibility Criteria for UIIC Administrative Officer (AO) (Scale I):
Educational Qualifications:
- Legal Specialists:
- Bachelor’s degree in law with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University or equivalent.
- OR Master’s degree in law from a recognized University or equivalent.Preferably, 3 years of experience as a practicing lawyer (2 years for SC/ST candidates).
- Must be registered with the Bar Council of India.
- Accounts / Finance Specialists:
- Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA)
- OR B.Com. with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University, or M.Com. from a recognized University.
- Company Secretaries:
- Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates, 55% for SC/ST candidates.
- Must have passed the Final examination of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
- Actuaries:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Actuarial Science or related quantitative discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
- OR Master’s degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Actuarial Science or related quantitative discipline.
- Doctors:
- MBBS / BAMS / BHMS with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University.
- Must be registered with the Indian Medical Association.
- Internship under MBBS degree should be completed by 31-03-2023.
- Engineers (Various Disciplines):
- B.Tech. / BE or M.Tech. / ME in various engineering disciplines with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University.
- Agriculture Specialists:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized University.
- OR Master’s degree in Agriculture Discipline from a recognized University.
Other Notes:
- Qualifications should be from recognized Indian universities/institutes approved by UGC / AICTE.
- Preference for candidates with post-qualification experience in their specialization or non-life insurance qualification.
- Qualifications should be completed by 31.03.2023.
- Working knowledge of computers is necessary.
Age Criteria:
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 30 years as of 31.03.2023.
- Age relaxations apply for various categories as per Govt. rules.
Salary Details:
- Basic pay in the range of Rs. 50,925 to Rs. 85,925, with applicable allowances.
- Additional benefits such as Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Performance Linked Incentive (PLI), and National Pension System (NPS) provided as per Company rules.
- Approximate gross pay of Rs. 88,000/- p.m. at Metropolitan centers.

Application Fee/Exam Fee:
- General/OBC/Other applicants: Rs. 1000/- + GST
- SC/ST/PwBD applicants: Rs. 250/- (only service charges) + GST
