The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) is seeking applications for various positions. Here are the details:

1. Executive Engineer (Civil)

• Vacancies: Various
• Eligibility: First-class bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Computer-aided Design (CAD), project management experience.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years

2. Assistant Librarian

• Vacancies: Various
• Eligibility: Master’s Degree in Library Science with at least 55% marks, cleared NET or Ph.D.
• Desirable: Computerization of a library, consistently good academic record.
• Age Limit: 35 years

3. Junior Engineer

• Vacancies: Various
• Eligibility: First-class B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 1 year of experience or Diploma with 3 years of experience in HVAC works.
• Age Limit: 30 years

4. Junior Technical Assistant

• Vacancies: Various
• Eligibility: First-class Bachelor’s Degree/B.Tech in relevant fields with 3 years of experience.
• Experience Areas: Software Installation, Server Maintenance, Lab Management, etc.
• Age Limit: 32 years

5. Junior Technical Assistant

• Vacancies: Various
• Eligibility: First-class Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry/Physics/Material Science/Chemical Engineering/Electronics, with 3 years of experience.
• Age Limit: 32 years

6. Attendant (Electrician) & Attendant (Plumber)

• Vacancies: Various
• Eligibility: ITI or equivalent pass with 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Desirable: Experience in working with academic or research institutions.
• Age Limit: 30 years

Age Limit (As on 06.11.2023):

• Upper age limit relaxed for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwD (10 years), and Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. rules.

Salary Details:

• Executive Engineer (Civil) – Level 11
• Assistant Librarian – Academic Pay Level 10
• Junior Engineer – Level 6
• Junior Technical Assistant – Level 5
• Attendant (Electrician) & Attendant (Plumber) – Level 1

Selection Process:

• Written Test
• Interview
