Eligibility Criteria for MRVC Assistant Manager:

Educational Qualification:

1. Assistant Manager (Civil): Graduation in Civil Engineering (BE/B. Tech) or equivalent with a minimum of 70% marks from a recognized (AICTE) University. In case the university awards only CGPA/OGPA/CPI/DGPA without percentage, conversion will be done based on the University’s norms. Rounding off percentage is not acceptable (e.g., 69.99% will be treated as less than 70%). Additional advantage for candidates with Post Graduation in relevant engineering/Construction Management. Minimum Qualification: At least 06 years of post-qualification construction work experience with Central/State Govt. organizations/CPSEs/PSUs/Govt. instrumentalities. Preferably experienced in Suburban Railway Projects. Service Agreement: Selected candidates must serve the Corporation for a minimum of two years and execute a Surety Bond of Rs.1 Lac. in favor of Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd. on Rs. 100/- stamp paper.

Age Limit: (As on 10.10.2023)

1. Assistant Manager (Civil): 35 Years

Upper age limit relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Relaxation in Upper Age limit as per Govt. Rules. Refer to MRVC official Notification 2023 for more details.

The Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC) has recently announced a recruitment drive for the year 2023, opening up 15 vacancies for the position of Assistant Manager in the Civil Engineering department. To be eligible for the Assistant Manager position, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BE/B. Tech) or an equivalent qualification with a commendable score of not less than 70% from a recognized university accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). For those from universities that award CGPA/OGPA/CPI/DGPA without providing a percentage, the conversion will be carried out according to the university’s norms. Applicants are required to possess a minimum of six years of post-qualification construction work experience with Central/State Government organizations, CPSEs/PSUs, or government instrumentalities.
