Description About the Job
The Vendor Operations team at Amazon is dedicated to providing guidance and support to vendors, ensuring a seamless experience when working with Amazon systems.
As a member of this team, your primary role will involve offering reasonable assistance to vendors in enhancing their capabilities, enabling them to optimize their business operations. You will assist vendors in familiarizing themselves with various Amazon tools and provide on-site support for tasks such as PO management and shipment coordination.
Your responsibilities will include training vendors on catalog content population and procurement, collaborating with sellers/vendors and internal teams for catalog creation and product imaging, engaging directly with vendors, identifying and rectifying errors, reviewing and suggesting necessary changes to standard operating procedures based on input from Category Managers, supporting the Category team in identifying and configuring deals according to guidelines, and more.
In addition to being a supportive associate in helping vendors become self-sufficient on the platform, you will be expected to take on broader responsibilities, including initiating and leading process improvement projects, actively participating in internal and external stakeholder calls and meetings, handling various sets of daily, weekly, and monthly business reports, and onboarding new processes across category functions when necessary to meet business needs.
