BEL Project Engineer Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Project Engineer-I –

Qualification: Candidates should have a BE/B.Tech degree (4-year course) from a reputed Institute/University in the following Engineering disciplines: Electronics/Electronics & Communication/E&T/Telecommunication or Mechanical.

Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in all semesters in the indicated qualification for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and a Pass Class for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates. A method of conversion of CGPA to a percentage as per University norms should be compulsorily attached.

Post Qualification Experience (as of 01.06.2023): Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification industry experience to apply for the post of Project Engineer-I.

Age Limit: (As of 01.06.2023)

1. Project Engineer-I – Maximum 32 years

The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s), and for Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates’ relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. For more reference, candidates should go through the BEL official Notification 2023.

Remuneration:

1. Project Engineer-I –

1st year: Rs. 40,000/-

2nd year: Rs. 45,000/-

3rd year: Rs. 50,000/-

4th year: Rs. 55,000/-

Additional benefits: Rs. 12,000/- per year towards insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.

BEL Project Engineer Selection Process 2023:

BEL may follow the following process to select candidates:

1. Written Test
2. Interview

Application Fee/Exam Fee for BEL Project Engineer:

Project Engineer – I – Rs. 472/- (Rs. 400 + 18% GST)

Candidates belonging to PwBD, SC, and ST categories are exempted from payment of the application fee.

• The application fee should be remitted through SBI Collect (online mode or through an SBI Branch). Candidates should visit SBI Collect and deposit the application fee (as applicable) along with applicable bank charges in any SBI Branch. The candidate should ensure to obtain the seal and signature of the bank official.
• Candidates have to enter the “SBI Collect reference No.” generated after payment in the online Application Form.
• Candidates are advised to carefully go through all instructions and eligibility criteria before remitting the Application Fee and submitting the application. The fee once paid will not be refunded.
