Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Project Associate I –
- Essential Qualifications: M. Sc. in Chemistry (02 posts), B. Tech/ B.E. in Chemical Engineering (01 post), B. Tech/ B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (01 post)
- Desirable Experience: Candidates with M. Sc. in Chemistry and experience in polymeric membrane synthesis and characterization are desirable. Candidates with M. Tech/ M. E. will be preferred. The selected candidates will work on the project titled “Scale up of Indigenous membrane/modules and pilot plant for water softening and wastewater treatment,” focusing on polymeric membrane synthesis, characterization, process development, and demonstration.
- Project Assistant/Technical Assistant –
- Essential Qualifications: B. Sc./ 3 Years Diploma in Engineering and Technology
- Desirable Experience: The selected candidates will work on the project titled “Scale up of Indigenous membrane/modules and pilot plant for water softening and wastewater treatment,” focusing on polymeric membrane synthesis, characterization, process development, and demonstration.
Age Limit: (As on 14.05.2024)
- Project Associate I – Maximum 35 years
- Project Assistant/Technical Assistant – Maximum 50 years
Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:
- For SC/ ST Candidates: 5 years
- For OBC Candidates: 3 years
- For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Candidates: 10 years
- For PwBD (SC/ ST) Candidates: 15 years
- For PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years
Applicants will receive relaxation in the upper age limit as per Government of India Rules.
Salary Details:
- Project Associate I –
- Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA for scholars selected through:
- National eligibility test CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE
- National Level Examinations conducted by central Government department and their agencies and institutions
- Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA for others
- Project Assistant/Technical Assistant – Rs. 20,000/- per month + HRA
