Eligibility Criteria:

Total: Various

Educational Qualification:

Junior Research Fellow – Mechanical Engg.: Graduate Degree in B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical Engg.) with first division and valid NET/GATE score. OR Post Graduate Degree in M.E./M.Tech. (Mechanical Engg.) with first division at both levels.
Junior Research Fellow – Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics Engg./ Electronics & Comm. Engg.: Graduate Degree in B.E./B.Tech. (Elec/EEE/ECE) with first division and valid NET/GATE score. OR Post Graduate Degree in M.E./M.Tech. (Elec/EEE/ECE) with first division at both levels.
Junior Research Fellow – Marine Engg.: Graduate Degree in B.E./B.Tech. (Marine Engg.) with first division and valid NET/GATE score. OR Post Graduate Degree in M.E./M.Tech. (Marine Engg.) with first division at both levels.
Junior Research Fellow – Mathematics: Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Mathematics with first division and NET qualification.
Junior Research Fellow – Physics: Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Physics with first division and NET qualification.

Age Limit:

28 years as of the Walk-in-interview date. Relaxation for SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per Government of India orders.

Stipend:

Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000/- + House Rent Allowance as per rules.

Examination Fee of Rs. 10/- to be paid through Indian Postal Order, Demand Draft in favor of “Director, NSTL,” or online payment to the specified bank account. SC/ST/OBC candidates are exempt from the fee.
