Position and Number of Openings:
Unmarried male candidates who have completed their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (referred to as PCM) subjects and appeared in the JEE (Mains) 2023 exam are invited to apply for the Permanent Commission in the Army.

Indian Army Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
(i) Candidates who have passed the 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from recognized education boards are eligible to apply. The eligibility condition for calculating PCM percentage from various state/central boards will be based on marks obtained in Class XII only. (ii) Candidates must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2023.
Age Limit: A candidate must be between 16½ and 19½ years on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence, i.e., the candidate should not be born before 02 Jul 2004 and not after 01 Jul 2007 (both days inclusive).
Salary Details:
Fixed Stipend for Cadet Training:
Gentlemen cadets will receive a stipend of ₹56,100/- p.m.* on completion of 3 years of training. After completing 04 years of training, they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank.
- On successful commissioning, the pay in the pay matrix of the officer commissioned shall be fixed in the first Cell of Level 10, and the training period shall not be treated as commissioned service. Arrears on account of admissible allowances for the training period shall be paid to cadets.
- Lieutenant Level 10 – Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500/-
- Captain Level 10B – Rs.61,300-1,93,900/-
- Major Level 11 – Rs.69,400-2,07,200/-
- Lieutenant Colonel Level 12A – Rs.1,21,200-2,12,400/-
- Colonel Level 13 – Rs.1,30,600-2,15,900/-
- Brigadier Level 13A – Rs.1,39,600-2,17,600/-
- Major General Level 14 – Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200/-
- Lieutenant General HAG Scale Level 15 – Rs.1,82,200-2,24,100/-

Selection Process:
(a) Shortlisting of Applications: Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist the applications and fix cut-offs without assigning any reason. After shortlisting, the Centre allotment will be communicated via email, and SSB dates will be allotted.
(b) Only shortlisted eligible candidates will undergo SSB at Prayagraj (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka), or Jalandhar (Punjab) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer, and Interviewing Officer.
(c) Two-stage selection procedure: Those who clear Stage I will proceed to Stage II. Duration of SSB interview is five days, followed by a medical examination for recommended candidates.
(d) Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be issued Joining Letters for training based on merit and eligibility.
