Eligibility Criteria for JIPMER Junior Nurse:
Educational Qualification:
- Senior Research Fellow – Essential:
- MBBS or BDS degree holders
- OR M.Sc. in Epidemiology or Clinical Research with a minimum of two years of research experienceOR M.Sc. in Life Sciences with a minimum of two years of research experienceOR Master of Public Health (MPH) with a minimum of two years of research experience Desirable:Previous experience as a Junior Research FellowDegree in Clinical ResearchCourse Certification in Computer application
- Past Experience of handling Funded Extramural / Intramural Projects will be given preference.
- Junior Nurse – Essential:
- Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board
- Certificate in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from a recognized institution or equivalent qualification for male nurses.Should be registered as an ‘A’ grade Nurse & Midwife with a state Nursing council or equivalent qualification for male nurses. Desirable:
- Past Experience of handling Funded Extramural / Intramural Projects will be given preference.
- Data Entry Operator Grade – B – Essential:
- Intermediate or 12th pass in the science stream from a recognized board
- DOEACC ‘A’ level from a recognized instituteOR 2 years of experience in EDP work in Government, Autonomous, PSU, or any other recognized organizations. Desirable:Qualification in stenography/maintenance of accountsProficiency in MS Office/data entry/statistical softwareComputer typing speed of not less than 15000 key depressions per hourWork experience in similar projects
- Proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading Tamil and English.
Age Limit:
- Senior Research Fellow – Up to 30 years
- Junior Nurse – Up to 28 years
- Data Entry Operator Grade – B – Up to 30 years
The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs), and for Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules. Candidates’ relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Government rules. Please refer to the JIPMER official Notification 2023 for more details.
Salary Details:
- Senior Research Fellow – Rs. 41,300/- per month (Rs. 35,000/- + 6,300 [18% HRA])
- Junior Nurse – Rs. 18,000/- per month (with a 10% annual increment)
- Data Entry Operator Grade – B – Rs. 18,000/- per month (with a 10% annual increment)
