The Agniveervayu Intake for 02/2023 has specific educational qualifications for candidates applying for the Science and Other than Science Subjects courses. For the Science Subjects course, candidates should have passed their Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English from an Education Board listed as COBSE member. The minimum requirement is 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Candidates who have passed a Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized

Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course) are also eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates who have passed Two years Vocational course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Mathematics from State Education Boards / Councils listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the vocational course) can apply. For Other than Science Subjects,

candidates must have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Alternatively, candidates who have passed two years’ vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course) are eligible to apply. Candidates eligible for Science Subjects

examination (Including Intermediate/ 10+2/three years’ diploma course in engineering or two years’ vocational course with non-vocational subjects of Physics and Maths) can also apply for Other than Science Subjects and can appear in both Science Subjects and Other than Science Subjects examination in one sitting while filling up the online registration form. It is important to note that only Education Boards listed in

Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) website (cobse.org.in) as members, as on the date of registration shall be considered. Additionally, the exact aggregate Percentage of marks before decimal as written in the marks sheet of 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent Examination/Three years Diploma Course/Two years Vocational Course OR calculated as per the rules of concerned Education Board / Polytechnic Institute shall only be considered (For example 49.99% should be taken as 49% and not to be rounded off to 50%).

Indian Air Force Agniveervayu Intake 02/2023: Recruitment Details

Indian Air Force has released a notification for the Agniveervayu Intake 02/2023 for the recruitment of eligible candidates to serve the nation. The recruitment is open for a limited period, and candidates born between 26 December 2002 and 26 June 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply. In case the candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, the upper age limit at the time of enrolment should be 21 years.

Salary Details:

The selected candidates will be given a one-time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package, comprising their monthly contribution with a matching contribution by the Government, on completion of their engagement period. The monthly customized package for the first year will be Rs. 30,000, of which the candidate will receive 70%, i.e., Rs. 21,000, and the remaining 30%, i.e., Rs. 9,000, will be contributed to the Agniveers Corpus Fund.

The Government will also contribute an additional Rs. 9,000 to the Corpus Fund. The monthly contribution will increase each year, and after four years, the total contribution to the Agniveers Corpus Fund will be approximately Rs. 5.02 Lakh. If a candidate exits after four years, they will receive approximately Rs. 10.04 Lakh as the Seva Nidhi Package (excluding interest).

Selection Process:

The Indian Air Force may follow the following process to select the candidates:

  1. Phase – I (Online Test)
  2. Phase – II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
  3. Phase – III: Medical Examination

Examination Fee:

Candidates need to pay an examination fee of Rs. 250/- while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made using Debit Cards, Credit Cards, or Internet Banking through a payment gateway.

The HAL Tejas is a lightweight, single-engine, multi-role fighter jet developed by India. It has a maximum speed of Mach 1.6 and a range of 3,000 kilometers. It is armed with air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles.

Transport Planes

The IAF’s transport planes include the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules, and the Antonov An-32. The C-17 Globemaster III is a four-engine, high-wing transport plane developed by Boeing. It has a maximum payload capacity of 77 tons and a range of 4,200 kilometers. The C-130J Super Hercules is a four-engine, turboprop transport plane developed by Lockheed Martin. It has a maximum payload capacity of 20 tons and a range of 4,600 kilometers. The Antonov An-32 is a twin-engine transport plane developed by Ukraine. It has a maximum payload capacity of 7.
