Eligibility Criteria for UPSC JE Exam:

  1. Research Officer (Naturopathy) –

Education:

  • Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Science degree from a recognized university or institute, with a duration of five and a half years.
  • Post-graduate degree in Naturopathy from a recognized university or institute.

Desirable:

  • Doctorate degree in Naturopathy from a recognized university or institute.
  1. Research Officer (Yoga) –

Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Yoga from a recognized university or institute.
  • Post-graduate degree in Yoga from a recognized university or institute.

Desirable:

  • Doctorate degree in Yoga from a recognized university or institute.
  1. Assistant Director (Regulations & Information) –

Education:

  • Degree in Law from a recognized university.

Experience:

  • Minimum of seven years’ working experience dealing with legal aspects of Civil Aviation.

Desirable:

  • At least one year experience dealing with economic aspects of Civil Aviation.
  1. Assistant Director (Forensic Audit) –

Education:

  • Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Chartered Financial Analyst or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance) or Master’s in Business Administration (Finance) or Master’s of Business Economics or Master’s in Commerce or Bachelor’s in Law.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year experience in audit or forensic audit from any government or listed private organization.
  1. Public Prosecutor –

Education:

  • Degree in Law from a recognized university.

Experience:

  • Minimum of seven years’ practice at the bar in conducting criminal cases.
  1. Junior Engineer (Civil) –

Education:

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
  1. Junior Engineer (Electrical) –

Education:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
  1. Assistant Architect –

Education:

  • Degree in Architecture or an equivalent diploma from a recognized university or institute.
  • Should be registered with the Council of Architecture.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience under a registered Architect.

Revised Age Limit:

  1. Research Officer (Naturopathy) – Maximum 35 years of age
  2. Research Officer (Yoga) – Maximum 35 years of age
  3. Assistant Director (Regulations & Information) – Maximum 40 years of age
  4. Assistant Director (Forensic Audit) – Maximum 35 years of age
  5. Public Prosecutor – Maximum 35 years of age
  6. Junior Engineer (Civil) – Maximum 30 years of age
  7. Junior Engineer (Electrical) – Maximum 30 years of age
  8. Assistant Architect – Maximum 35 years of age

The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWDs and 13 years for OBC PWDs), and for Ex-Servicemen as per the rules of the Government of India. Salary Details:

  1. Research Officer (Naturopathy) – Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
  2. Research Officer (Yoga) – Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
  3. Assistant Director (Regulations & Information) – Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
  4. Assistant Director (Forensic Audit) – Level-08 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
  5. Public Prosecutor – Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
  6. Junior Engineer (Civil) – Level-06 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
  7. Junior Engineer (Electrical) – Level-06 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
  8. Assistant Architect – Rs. 15600-39100 + 5400 Grade Pay (Pre-revised).

Selection Process for UPSC JE 2023:

The selection process for UPSC JE 2023 may include the following:

Application Fee/Exam Fee for UPSC JE:

(a) Candidates (except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty-five) only. They can remit the money in any branch of SBI by cash or through net banking facilities of any bank, or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.

(b) No fee is charged for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. However, no fee exemption is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates, and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

(c) Applications submitted without the prescribed fee would be rejected summarily, and no representation against such rejection would be entertained.
