Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences (M.Sc./M. Tech. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Science) or a graduate/postgraduate degree in a professional course. The selection process includes candidates who have qualified through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC Net, GATE) or national level examinations conducted by central government departments and agencies.

Preferable Experience: Candidates with knowledge of molecular pathways, hands-on experience in bioassays, Western blot, qPCR techniques, cell culture, and handling zebrafish embryo-larvae will be preferred. Relevant research publications with a good impact factor are given priority. Computer knowledge for recording and analyzing scientific research data, statistical analysis, etc., is required. Candidates are encouraged to enroll in the Ph.D. (Life Science) 4-year degree program offered at TNJFU – IFPGS, OMR Campus.
Age Limit:
Minimum age: 21 years, Maximum age: 45 years, with relaxation as per rules.
Salary Details: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Rs. 31,000/- per month (First 2 years) + HRA and Rs. 35,000/- per month (3rd year) + HRA
Selection Process: TNJFU will follow a two-step process:
