The Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) is seeking highly qualified candidates for two prestigious positions: Executive Director (Operations) and General Manager (Finance). The educational qualifications and required experiences for each position are as follows:
- Executive Director (Operations)
The ideal candidate for Executive Director (Operations) should possess a first-class full-time graduate degree in engineering from a recognized university or institute. Alternatively, candidates can have a full-time science degree with a first-class full-time post-graduate diploma in Pulp & Paper Technology.
In terms of experience, candidates should have a minimum of 32 years of post-qualification experience in a large-sized engineering, process, or manufacturing plant as of 01/02/2023. Furthermore, candidates should have worked as the head of operations for at least three years in a large-sized Pulp & Paper industry, with experience in a large-sized plant and project execution.
The incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and operating the paper machine, pulp mill, chemical plant, and utilities. The ideal candidate should have adequate leadership potential and a comprehensive understanding of technology. In deserving cases, experience may be relaxed up to three years.
- General Manager (Finance)
The ideal candidate for General Manager (Finance) should have a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) qualification.
In terms of experience, candidates should have a minimum of 29 years of post-qualification experience, as of 01/02/2023, working in a senior position in the finance/accounts department of a reputed industrial organization or continuous process industry. The candidate should have exposure to project finance, funds mobilization, funds management, forex management, cost control, and performance monitoring.
The incumbent will be responsible for finance, costing, and accounting functions, including plant accounting, management accounting, budgetary control, MIS, taxation, corporate finance, export finance, resource mobilization, and funds management. Working experience in an ERP environment with exposure to IFRS is preferred.
The post-qualification experience will be calculated only after acquiring a CA or CMA qualification. Age and experience may be relaxed up to two years in deserving cases.
