Description About the Job

Assisting BCG case teams and topic leaders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment throughout various stages of the market research/survey management process.
Skills:
- Business acumen: comprehending business objectives and contextualizing associated market research.
- Fast learner: swiftly understanding and applying market research knowledge to interpret and discuss elements of survey design, such as sampling, quotas, methodology, and questionnaire structure.
- Collaborative team player: working with survey programmers, third-party vendors, and partners to implement online surveys and collect data.
- Attention to detail: meticulously reviewing online surveys before launch, demonstrating data handling and management capabilities to validate and cleanse data prior to further processing.
- Strong statistical knowledge: applying statistical theoretical concepts, including univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods, and rapidly learning specialized survey data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, Sawtooth) to provide practical data analytics outcomes.
- Effective data interpretation: utilizing Alteryx and advanced Excel for survey data transformation, processing, and creating formula/macro-driven models and simulators.
- Proficient in graphical representation: utilizing visualization tools, such as PowerPoint, Tableau, and Market Sight, to showcase analytical outputs in an insightful and visually appealing manner.
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for candidates who bring both experience and qualifications to the role. The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Education
- A Bachelor’s degree with a demonstrated high academic achievement in analytics, data science, or mathematics is required, along with relevant work experience in market/consumer research data analytics through projects, coursework, or internships.
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Applied Statistics, Operational Research, Economics, or Mathematics will be preferred.
Experience
- 0-1 years of relevant experience in market research and data analytics is required.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including data management, processing, and analysis, are essential.
- Strong hands-on experience in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
- Familiarity with additional tools such as SPSS, R, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, Market Sight, VBA, SQL will be an added advantage.
- A strong knowledge of and affinity for database and analytical tool management is desirable.
- The candidate should have the ability to work with multiple, geographically distributed teams in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and operate effectively in a matrix organization, with prioritization and expectation management skills.
- They should be able to engage with senior stakeholders independently, prioritize work, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, team player mentality, work ethic, and service excellence orientation are highly valued.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English are a must.
