CSL Executive Trainee Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Executive Trainee (Mechanical): Candidates must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.
- Executive Trainee (Electrical): Candidates must have a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.
- Executive Trainee (Electronics): Candidates must have a degree in Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.
- Executive Trainee (Instrumentation): Candidates must have a degree in Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.
- Executive Trainee (Naval Architecture): Candidates must have a degree in Naval Architecture with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.
- Executive Trainee (Safety): Candidates must have a degree in Safety Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.
- Executive Trainee (Information Technology):
- Essential: Candidates must have a) a degree in Engineering in Computer Science with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university, or b) a degree in Engineering in Information Technology with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university, or c) a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications/Computer Science/Information Technology with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university.
- Desirable: Candidates should have a valid certification from reputed agencies/organizations in Programming Language/DBMS/Networking/ERP Systems.
- Executive Trainee (Human Resource):
- Candidates must have a) a degree with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university, and b) a two-year Master’s Degree or equivalent Degree or equivalent Diploma or Post Graduate Degree in any of the following areas, with a minimum of 65% marks from a recognized university:
- (i) Master’s Degree in Business Administration with specialization in HR or equivalent Degree with specialization in HR or equivalent Diploma with specialization in HR.(ii) Post Graduate Degree in Social Work with specialization in Personnel Management or Labour Welfare & Industrial Relations.(iii) Post Graduate Degree in Personnel Management.
- Executive Trainee (Finance): Candidates must have passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Age Limit: (As on 20.07.2023)
- The upper age limit for all the posts is 27 years as of 20 July 2023 (applicants should be born on or after 21 July 1996).
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates, only for posts reserved for the respective categories. Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) will be as per Government of India guidelines.
Salary Details:
- Executive Trainee: Rs. 1,09,342/-
CSL Executive Trainee Selection Process 2023:
- Phase-I: Objective Type Online Test
- Phase-II: Group Discussion (GD), Writing Skills, and Personal Interview
Application Fee/Exam Fee for CSL Executive Trainee:
- Application fee of Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/Wallets/UPI, etc.) accessible through the online application portal from 29 June 2023 to 20 July 2023. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
- No application fee for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD). They are exempted from payment of the application fee.
- All applicants (except SC/ST/PwBD candidates) for whom the fee is applicable should pay the application fee as stipulated above. Their candidature will be considered only on receipt of the application fee.
How to Apply for CSL Executive Trainee Post: i) Applicants should visit the website (Career page- CSL, Kochi) and proceed to the link for the online application. The application consists of two phases – Registration and Submission of the application. Applicants should not submit more than one application. Once submitted, the application shall be considered final. ii) Applicants meeting the notified requirements may go through the instructions on the online application page, complete the Registration, and submit their application online through the online application facility starting from 29 June 2023. The facility can be accessed through the website (Career page- CSL, Kochi). Applications submitted directly or by any other mode will not be accepted.
