Eligibility Criteria for Group C Positions at IMA Dehradun:
Educational Qualification:
- MT Driver (Ordinary Grade):
- Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Must possess a Civilian Driving License for heavy vehicles and have two years of experience in driving such vehicles.
- LDC (Lower Division Clerk):
- 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
- Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on a computer, or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer (equivalent to 10500/9000 KDPH on average with 5 key depressions for each word).
- Basic computer knowledge (including MS Office).
- Desirable: O Level Certificate from NIELIT (DOEACC) OR one-year diploma certificate in computer from a Central/ State Govt recognized Institute.
- Cook Special:
- Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in the trade.
- Waiter:
- Essential: Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Desirable: One year of experience in the trade.
- Groundsman:
- Essential:
- Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.Must be familiar with the duties of a Groundsman.
- MTS (Chowkidar):

Selection Process for IMA Dehradun Group C 2023:

Application Fee:
- (a) Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) of value of Rs 50/- (Rupees Fifty Only) in favor of the Commandant, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. The postal order should be issued on or after the date of publication of the advertisement.
- (b) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the application fee.
- (c) The application fee is non-refundable.
How to Apply for IMA Dehradun Group C Post: Candidates meeting the qualification and specification criteria mentioned above should submit their applications on plain paper, typed or neatly handwritten in the prescribed format. Applications, complete in all respects and along with all required documents, should be sent to the Commandant, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, via Registered post/Speed post (through Indian Postal Service only). Enclose two self-addressed envelopes (IN BLOCK LETTERS) (size 9”X 4”) with Rs 5/- stamp affixed on each. Ensure that documents and certificates are properly attached. The application form proforma is enclosed in Appendix ‘A’. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

The Indian Army has a rigorous selection process for applicants interested in serving in the armed forces. The selection procedure involves a series of steps that are designed to test the physical and mental fitness of candidates, as well as their engineering and architectural knowledge.
The first step in the selection process is the shortlisting of applications. The Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) has the authority to shortlist applications and determine the cutoff percentage of marks for each engineering discipline/stream. This cutoff percentage will be based on the cumulative percentage of marks obtained by candidates up to the final semester/year.
Candidates who are in their final semester/year of their degree will be provisionally allowed to appear in the Services Selection Board (SSB), subject to certain conditions. These conditions include ensuring that their cumulative percentage of marks up to the 6th semester/3rd year of Engg degree, up to the 8th semester/4th year of B. Architecture (B.Arch), and up to the 2nd semester/1st year of M.Sc in the equivalent stream/discipline is not below the approved cutoff percentage for their respective streams. Additionally, after the final results are declared, their cumulative percentage of marks up to the final semester/year of the degree course should not be less than the approved cutoff percentage. Failure to meet these conditions will result in the cancellation of the candidate’s candidature.
After the applications have been shortlisted, candidates will be notified of their centre allotment via email. Once a Selection Centre has been assigned, candidates will be required to log in to the website and select their SSB dates. These dates are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis initially, and will be allotted by the Selection Centres thereafter. However, in the event of exceptional circumstances or events, the option to select the dates for the SSB may be forfeited.
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the Indian Army’s Technical Graduate Course will need to undergo a two-stage selection process. The first stage involves a cutoff percentage, and only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at one of the four selection centers located in Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, and Kapurthala by a psychologist, group testing officer, and interviewing officer. The selection center will be allotted at the discretion of the Directorate General of Recruiting, IHQ MoD (Army), and no requests for changes will be entertained.
Candidates who clear Stage-1 will proceed to Stage-2, while those who fail in Stage-1 will be returned on the same day. The SSB interviews will last for five days, and details are available on the official website of the Directorate General of Recruiting at Official Website Given Below Candidates who get recommended after Stage 2 will undergo a medical examination. Those recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will receive a joining letter for training in the order of merit, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.To apply for the Indian Army TGC-138 post, candidates must visit the website Given Below and submit their application online. They need to click on ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ and then ‘Registration,’ fill the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully. After getting registered, they need to click on ‘Apply Online’ under the dashboard, and a page Officers Selection ‘Eligibility’ will open. Then click ‘Apply’ shown against Technical Graduate Course, and a page ‘Application Form’ will open. They need to read the instructions carefully and fill in the details required under various segments such as personal information, communication details, education details, and details of previous SSB. They need to save and continue each time before proceeding to the next segment. After filling in all the details, they will move to a page ‘Summary of your information’ to check and edit the entries already made. Only after verifying the correctness of the details, they need to click on ‘Submit.’ Candidates must click on ‘Submit’ each time they open the application for editing any details. They are required to take out two copies of their application having Roll Number, 30 minutes after the final closure of the online application on the last day.
