Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Project Nurse – II:
- Essential Qualification: Minimum second class or equivalent CGPA three-year General Nursing & Midwife course (GNM). For B.Sc nursing, an additional one-year will be added as relevant experience.
- Desirable Qualification and Experience:
- Experience in measuring anthropometry, blood pressure, and capillary blood glucose.Working experience in health facility/field data collection.Knowledge of computer applications.Proficiency in Tamil and English.
- Project Research Scientist – II (Non-Medical):
- Essential Qualification: 1st Class Master’s degree in Public Health/Epidemiology/Public Administration/Healthcare Management from a recognized institution/university with 3 years of experience. OR 2nd Class Master’s degree in the relevant subjects with a PhD degree and 3 years of experience.
- Desirable Qualification and Experience:
- Experience in managing projects in the health sector.Knowledge of computer applications/data management.Ability to write technical reports in English.Proficiency in English and Tamil.
- Consultant (Non-Medical):
- Essential Qualification: Professionals with a Master’s degree in Public Health/Epidemiology/MBA qualifications in a relevant subject with R&D experience and published papers.
- Desirable Qualification and Experience:
- Experience in managing field-based health research surveys.Experience in writing research manuscripts.Proficiency in Tamil.Knowledge of computer applications and data management.
- Project Technical Support III:
- Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in Sociology/Social Work/Statistics/Biostatistics from a recognized university with three years of work experience in public health projects/healthcare management OR Master’s degree in the relevant subjects.
- Desirable Qualification and Experience:
- Working experience in health facility/field data collection.Knowledge of computer applications.Proficiency in English.
Age Limit:
- Project Nurse – II: UR/EWS-30 years, OBC-33 years, SC-35 years
- Project Research Scientist – II (Non-Medical): 40 years
- Consultant (Non-Medical): 70 years
- Project Technical Support III: 40 years
Note: Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Refer to the ICMR – NIE official Notification 2023 for more details.
Salary Details:
- Project Nurse – II: Rs. 25,400/- (Inclusive of HRA)
- Project Research Scientist – II (Non-Medical): Rs. 85,090/- (Inclusive of HRA)
- Consultant (Non-Medical): Rs. 70,000/- Per month
- Project Technical Support III: Rs. 35,560/- (Inclusive of HRA)
Selection Process:
ICMR – NIE may follow the following process to select candidates:
- Walk-In Interview
- Written Test
How to Apply:
Interested and eligible candidates with the specified essential qualification may appear for a Walk-in-Interview at the institute. Bring all original and self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials, a valid identity proof (Voter ID card/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Aadhar Card), and one passport-size photograph. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the interview without the original certificates.
