Raman Research Institute (RRI) is welcoming applications for various positions. Check out the details below:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Assistant Security Officer:

• Essential:

• Ex-serviceman JCO (Naib Subedar of ARMY or higher rank or its equivalent in Navy and Airforce) OR equivalent rank in other paramilitary forces with a minimum of 10 years of experienceBachelor’s Degree

• Desirable:

• Proficiency in the use of various computer office applications (M.S Word, Excel, Powerpoint, ERP)Diploma in Security and Fire Fighting related subjects and/or training in these areasExperience of working in research/academic institutes in the relevant fieldBasic knowledge of Law

• Assistant Canteen Manager:

• Essential: Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent with at least 05 years’ experience in hotels/hostels of Educational Institute/Guest Houses of Public Sector Undertaking/Government Organization, etc.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in using various computer office applications (M.S Word, Excel, Powerpoint, ERP)

• Assistant:

• Essential:

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalentMinimum 3 years’ experience in a central government organization/PSU/Autonomous body in General Administration/Purchase/Accounts related matters

• Desirable:

• Exposure to a computerized working environmentGood communication skills in Hindi, English, and Kannada (both verbal and written)

• Assistant I:

• Essential: Must be qualified in the 10+2 examination
  • Desirable: Ability to read, write, and speak Hindi, English, and Kannada

Age Limit: (As on 04.12.2023)

1. Assistant Security Officer – 50 years
2. Assistant Canteen Manager – 30 years
3. Assistant – 28 years
4. Assistant I – 28 years

The Upper age limit is relaxed for SC/ST by 5 years, for OBC by 3 years, for Persons with Disabilities by 10 years (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s), and for Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. of India rules.

Salary Details:

1. Assistant Security Officer – Level 07
2. Assistant Canteen Manager – Level 06
3. Assistant – Level 04
4. Assistant I – Level 02

Selection Process:

RRI may follow this process to select candidates:

1. Stage-1: Written test – Objective
2. Stage-2: Written test – Descriptive
