The Laboratory of Stem Cells and Neuroregeneration at the Department of Animal Science, under the leadership of Dr. Mahesh Kandasamy, PhD., is actively engaged in cutting-edge research aimed at advancing our understanding of stem cells and their potential applications in neurological disorders. The successful candidate for this Project Associate-I position will play a vital role in supporting and contributing to ongoing projects within the laboratory.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and execution of research experiments related to stem cells and neuroregeneration.
• Participate in the maintenance of a sterile and well-organized laboratory environment.
• Conduct cell culture techniques, including isolation, propagation, and differentiation of stem cells.
• Perform immunohistochemistry assays to analyze protein expression in cells.
• Maintain accurate records of experimental data and protocols.
• Contribute to the preparation of research manuscripts and presentations.
• Assist with literature review and stay updated on the latest advancements in the field.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Eligibility Criteria:
