National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is inviting applications for the following positions:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. State Consultant:

1. Post Graduate in Social Work/Health Sciences/Public Health/MBA(HR).
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in Training coordination at State/District level.
3. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the health sector/training in health-related subjects.

2. Project Assistant:

2. Graduate with a diploma in Computer Application.
3. Knowledge of computer operations.
4. Minimum 3 years of experience in data entry operations.

3. Secretarial Assistant:

3. 12th pass with office work experience.
4. Knowledge of Secretarial practices.

Age Limit: (As on 27.01.2024)

1. State Consultant – Below 62 years.
2. Project Assistant – Below 35 Years
3. Secretarial Assistant – Below 35 Years

3. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates’ Relaxation in the Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Refer to NIOS official Notification 2024 for more details.

Salary Details:

1. State Consultant – Rs. 35,000/-
2. Project Assistant – Rs. 16,000/-
3. Secretarial Assistant – Rs. 15,000/-

Selection Process: NIOS may follow the subsequent process to select candidates:

1. Short Listing
2. Interview

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹250/- (+ ₹50/- online transaction fee) through the prescribed link at the online application. No fee is required for candidates belonging to the PwD category. Once the fee is deposited, it will not be refunded under any circumstances.

How to Apply: Candidates fulfilling the criteria should apply online only through the link on the NIOS website in the careers webpage under the current openings section i.e., from 06.01.2024 to 27.01.2024. No other mode of application will be accepted.
