Applications are invited by CIBA Chennai for the following positions:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Young Professional – II: Ph.D. in remote sensing/geoinformatics/geography/environmental engineering/aquaculture engineering with prior work experience in aquaculture site selection using remote sensing and GIS. Previous experience in Maharashtra coastal projects is preferred (CIBA Chennai).
2. Young Professional II: M.Tech Geoinformatics/M.Sc. geography/M.Tech Remote sensing and other relevant disciplines. In-depth working knowledge in aquaculture mapping and GIS applications, sample analysis, and ground truth survey is preferred. Experience in the identification of aquaculture zones and DGNS is desirable (CIBA Chennai).
3. Young Professional II: M.F.Sc/M.Sc. in Fisheries Resource Management/Aquaculture/Fishery Science/Aquatic Environment/Environmental Science/Biochemistry, and other relevant disciplines. Working knowledge in aquaculture farm, water quality/soil characteristics preferred. Proficiency in Marathi language is desirable (CIBA-NGRC, Navasari, Gujarat).

Age Limit:

Lower age limit: 21 years; Upper age limit: 45 years (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms). Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Refer to the CIBA Chennai official Notification 2024 for more details.

Emoluments:

1. Research Associate: Rs. 54,000 + HRA
2. Young Professional – II: Rs. 42,000/month (Consolidated).

Selection Process:

CIBA Chennai may follow the subsequent process to select candidates:

1. Short Listing
2. Interview
