Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate – Fraud Detection Analyst (Falcon) to join our growing team in Chennai, India. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our customers’ financial information and assets by identifying and preventing fraudulent activity. You will be responsible for reviewing real-time transaction data, interacting with customers, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of our fraud detection processes.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence (30%)

• Review and monitor the additional Fraud Detection Process Review (FDPR) to ensure its effectiveness.
• Monitor real-time queues and identify high-risk transactions within the business portfolio.
• Build rapport with customers and educate them about the role of the fraud risk management team when investigating potential fraud alerts.
• Utilize a provided script to effectively communicate with customers about suspected fraudulent activity over the phone.
• Analyze transactions and identify fraudulent attempts, taking appropriate action such as canceling unauthorized transactions.
• Resolve queued transactions within established service level agreements (SLAs) to minimize potential revenue losses.
• Address customer concerns related to fraudulent activity, adhering to defined SLAs.
• Wing-to-Wing Closure & Process Improvement (20%)

• Collaborate with banks and customers to verify information and confirm or cancel suspicious authorizations.
• Manage payment-related queries to a complete resolution, ensuring proper closure of cases.
• Update fraud alerts with relevant status information and actions taken.
• Identify areas for system improvement to proactively prevent future fraudulent activities.
• Recommend and evaluate the implementation of new software tools for enhanced fraud detection, prevention, and reporting.
