Within this umbrella, specific teams such as MyHR Live Support (MHLS), Onboarding, PeoplePortal and Payroll Support, Data Management, Exits, and Internal Transfers ensure smooth operations and support for Amazon’s extensive workforce.

These teams are strategically located in Hyderabad and Bangalore, providing 24/7 support to ensure continuous HR services across the globe. This distribution allows the department to offer “follow-the-sun” support, ensuring that employees can receive assistance regardless of their time zone.

Role Overview:

Amazon is looking for an organized, dynamic, and self-motivated individual to join the MHLS Core team. As an MHLS Associate, you will be a crucial part of the HR Contact Center, working closely with the MHLS team based in the United States. Your primary role will be to provide a variety of HR services to Amazon employees in North America.

As the first point of contact for employees, managers, and the HR community, you will represent the MHLS team and ensure that the highest standards of service are maintained in every interaction. You will be responsible for delivering accurate, efficient, and personalized resolutions to queries, utilizing a wide range of systems, tools, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Support: As an MHLS Associate, you will be responsible for handling both inbound and outbound calls from Amazon employees regarding their HR-related queries. This may involve addressing inquiries about company policies, benefits, attendance, payroll deductions, and more.
2. Case Management: You will receive queries via phone or chat, log them into the shared service case management system, and work on ticketing to ensure that all queries are resolved promptly and accurately.
3. Process Adherence: You will adhere to defined processes and ensure that service delivery meets the set quality standards. This includes maintaining thorough knowledge of policies and processes for various customer groups to ensure consistent service delivery.
4. Service Level Achievement: You will be expected to meet the service level agreements (SLAs) for HR processes at all times, ensuring that all employee queries are handled efficiently and effectively.
5. Decision Making: You will need to exercise high judgment, critical thinking, and rationale to balance process adherence with employee needs. This will involve analyzing queries and deciding on suitable resolutions that align with both company policies and employee satisfaction.
6. Data Privacy: Integrity and discretion in dealing with sensitive information are paramount. You will be expected to maintain data privacy at all times, ensuring that all information is handled securely and confidentially.
7. Ownership: You will take ownership of query resolution and your individual metrics, striving to provide the best possible service to Amazon employees.

Basic Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree.
• Willingness to handle calls in a call center/contact center/help desk environment.
• Willingness to work in a 24×7 support process, including night shifts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email writing.
• Application of phone and email etiquette in customer interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in handling an HR help desk is desirable.
• Experience in HR or HR shared services.
• Familiarity with PeoplePortal.
