Essential Qualification:

• Doctorate Degree in Physical Sciences or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Fifteen (15) years’ experience in research and development in industrial and academic Institutions or science & technology organizations, out of which seven (7) years shall be in administration, planning, development, and coordination of R&D and related areas.
• Experience of evolving, managing, and directing major science and technology development programmes; and
• Published research work of high standard and/or a good record of patents granted/filed.

Desirable:

• Post Doctorate research in Physical Sciences or doctorate in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Institute as evidenced by certification by such University or Institute and publication of research work in journals of repute.
• Experience in conception, management & implementation of major scientific or technology development programmes.
• Experience in technology transfer and/or implementation of industry-relevant projects.
• Proven track record of application Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) techniques/ computational calculation methods for materials development by way of funded projects and relevant publications shall be an added advantage.

Age Limit:

• Scientist “G” – Not exceeding 50 years

Salary Details:

• Scientist “G” – Rs. 2,83,185/- approximately
