1. Submission of Application:

1. Applicants should submit their duly filled application in the prescribed format. The application should be enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING AT ASL.”

3. Candidates are required to fill out the application form by typing. They should affix a passport size photograph and sign the application form.

3. Incomplete or partially filled applications will not be accepted.
4. The marks obtained in the qualifying exam should be mentioned in percentage. If candidates have a CGPA, they are requested to convert it into a percentage as per their institute or university norms. This conversion will be verified during document verification.
5. The last date for the receipt of applications is 15 days from the publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.

Correspondence with Candidates:

1. All correspondence, including the offer letter (if selected), will be communicated via email only.
2. Candidates are solely responsible for downloading and printing the offer letter. ASL will not be responsible for any loss of email sent due to invalid or incorrect email IDs provided by the candidate or delivery of email to SPAM/Bulk mail folders.

Terms & Conditions for Selection of Apprentices:

1. Candidates for Graduate Apprentice and Technician Apprentice (Diploma) must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal (https://nats.education.gov.in).
2. Candidates for Trade Apprentice (ITI) must register on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
3. Non-registered candidates will be rejected.
4. Only fresh pass-out candidates (those who completed their respective courses in 2021, 2022, or 2023) are eligible to apply. Candidates with post-graduation degrees need not apply.
5. Candidates must have completed the essential qualifications in regular mode to be eligible.
6. Graduates, diploma holders, or ITI degree holders who have undergone training or gained job experience for one year or more after acquiring the essential qualification will not be eligible for consideration.
7. Reservation will be applied as per the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, and related rules. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-Non Creamy layer must produce their caste/OBC certificates issued by the competent authority during verification.
8. Selected candidates must sign a contract for one year of training as per the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. The training period will commence upon execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
9. Selected candidates must provide a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner, a police verification certificate, original certificates, Aadhaar Card, along with copies of the Bank Pass Book and two recent passport size photographs at the time of joining.
10. Once selected, candidates must report to ASL, Hyderabad, within 10 working days, or their engagement for training will automatically be terminated without further intimation.
11. Unauthorized absence from the training place for more than 15 days will result in automatic termination of the apprentice’s training.
12. Before applying, candidates should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement.
13. The offer of Apprenticeship Training does not guarantee employment in DRDO.
14. Verification of credentials will be conducted, and any deviation or non-conformity with the desired qualification will lead to the rejection of the candidate’s candidature.
15. Suppression of facts will result in disqualification at any stage of the selection process.
16. ASL reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of seats for apprenticeship training.
17. Any form of canvassing or personal follow-up to influence the selection process will lead to immediate cancellation of the candidate’s candidature.
18. ASL reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the advertisement/selection process if circumstances warrant, without assigning any reason.
19. Apprentices will not be provided with hostel accommodation, quarters, or transport by the establishment at any stage of the selection process or during the training period. Only a consolidated stipend will be provided.
20. Candidates selected for training cannot withdraw except for reasons beyond their control. Absentees are liable to refund the entire cost of their training and stipend amount determined by the Central Apprenticeship Advisor.
21. No TA/DA will be provided for joining or attending the interview.
22. In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction will be at Hyderabad.
