Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Constable (UB) in Assam Police – H.S. or Class XII passed from a Government recognized Board or Council.
- Constable (AB) in Assam Police – H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from a Government recognized Board or Council.
- Constable (UB) in APRO – H.S. or Class XII passed from a Government recognized Board or Council.
Age Limit: (As on 01.01.2023)
18 to 25 years as of 01-01-2023 (Candidates must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998).
Relaxations:
- 5 (five) years for Candidates belonging to SC, ST (P), and ST (H).
- 3 (three) years for Candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
- Additional 3 (three) years for trained Home Guards/members of VDPs (registered) with 3 years or more of service.
- Additional 10 (ten) years for FMMOs/SPOs (Certificate from Competent Authority required).
Salary Details: Rs. 14,000-60,500/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5600/- and other Allowances.
Selection Process:
Candidates with correct applications will undergo Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET). Candidates with physical deformities detected by the Medical Officer will be disqualified from further tests.
