Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a leading public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, invites applications for the position of Non-Engineering Graduates Apprentice (Optional Trade – OPTN). This recruitment drive offers a promising opportunity for fresh graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration to embark on their professional journey with BEL.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Non-Engineering Graduates Apprentice (OPTN) position, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification

• Essential: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from a recognized Board/University.
• Domicile: Candidates must be residents of any of the southern states of India (Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, or Telangana).
• Passing Year: The graduation degree should have been obtained on or after January 01, 2020.

Age Limit (as on 16.07.2024)

• Optional Trade (OPTN): Maximum age limit is 25 years.
• Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:
  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
  • OBC Candidates: 3 years
  • PwBD (Gen/EWS) Candidates: 10 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST) Candidates: 15 years
  • PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years

Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,500/- during the apprenticeship period.

Selection Process

The recruitment process for the Non-Engineering Graduates Apprentice (OPTN) position comprises two stages:

1. Written Test: Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted based on their performance in a written examination.
2. Walk-in Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a walk-in interview to assess their suitability for the apprenticeship program.

Interested and eligible candidates must appear for the walk-in interview at the designated venue with the following mandatory documents:

• Original and self-attested copies of all educational certificates and mark sheets.
• Valid identity proof (Voter ID card, PAN card, Driving License, Passport, or Aadhar card).
