Eligibility Requirements:

• Senior Research Positions:
  • Possess a Ph.D. degree in Physical or Chemical Sciences (Research Associate – II)
  • Possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry (Senior Project Associate)
• Research Fellow Positions:
  • Hold an M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or Physics with CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualification and a minimum of two years of research experience (SRF(P))
  • Hold an M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualification (JRF(P))
• Project Associate Positions:
  • Hold an M.Sc. degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Nano Science & Nano Technology with at least two years of experience (Project Associate – II)
  • Hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree in EEE, ECE, EIE with two years of experience (OR) an M.Sc. degree in Electronics with two years of experience (Project Associate – II) with specific desirable skills in electronics and software.
  • Hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering, IT, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, or AI and ML with two years of experience (OR) an M.Sc. degree in Data Science with two years of experience (Project Associate – II) with specific desirable skills in data analysis and programming.
  • Hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree in EEE, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, or an M.Sc. degree in Electronics (Project Associate – I) with a desirable background in battery management systems, ML, and various engineering practices.
  • Hold an M.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Physics, or Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (Project Associate – I) with a desirable knowledge of electrocatalysis and fuel cells.
  • Hold an M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (Project Associate – I) with a desirable knowledge of fuel cells and related technologies.
  • Hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (Project Associate – I) with a desirable knowledge of fuel cells and related technologies.
  • Hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree in Chemical Engineering (Project Associate – I) with a desirable knowledge of fuel cells and related technologies, design software, and modelling software.

Age Limit and Relaxation:

There is a specific age limit for each position, with a maximum of 40 years for senior research positions and 35 years for others. However, relaxation is available for certain categories, including SC/ST, OBC, and PwBD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates.

Salary Details:

The salary varies depending on the position and the candidate’s qualifications. It ranges from ₹25,000/-pm + HRA for Project Associate – I (without CSIR-UGC NET/GATE) to ₹61,000/-pm + HRA for Research Associate – II. Additionally, candidates selected through national level examinations like CSIR-UGC NET or GATE receive a higher salary within each category.
