The open positions include:Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical): You’ll be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems onboard ships. This includes tasks like pumps, turbines, generators, and other critical equipment.Commissioning Engineer (Electrical): You’ll manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems onboard ships. This encompasses power distribution, control systems, and navigation equipment.

Commissioning Engineer (Electronics / Communication & Navigation / Instrumentation & Control): Your expertise will be used in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electronic systems onboard ships. This includes communication equipment, navigation aids, and instrumentation & control systems.There are also opportunities for those with less experience through the following roles:Commissioning Assistant (Mechanical): You’ll work alongside the Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical) to assist with installation, testing, and commissioning tasks.

Commissioning Assistant (Electrical): You’ll provide support to the Commissioning Engineer (Electrical) in installing, testing, and commissioning electrical systems onboard ships.Commissioning Assistant (Electronics / Instrumentation & Controls): You’ll assist the Commissioning Engineer (Electronics / Communication & Navigation / Instrumentation & Control) with the installation, testing, and commissioning of electronic systems onboard ships.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification (as on July 17, 2024):

• Commissioning Engineer: Diploma in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics/Communication/Instrumentation) from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Commissioning Assistant: 10th Standard Pass.

Experience (Minimum 10 years post-qualification):

• Commissioning Engineer: Extensive experience in operation, maintenance, and commissioning of marine equipment and systems. Prior experience in the Indian Navy is desirable. Specific details and desirable skills vary based on the engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics).
• Commissioning Assistant: Experience in operation and maintenance of marine equipment and systems. Prior experience in the Indian Navy is desirable. Specific details and desirable skills vary based on the position (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics).

Age Limit: 45 years for all positions.

Salary Details (Annual):

• Commissioning Engineer: First Year – ₹50,000, Second Year – ₹51,392
• Commissioning Assistant: First Year – ₹48,000, Second Year – ₹49,357

Selection Process:

A two-stage process will be conducted:

1. Walk-in Interview: Interested candidates meeting the essential qualifications should appear for the walk-in interview on the specified date.
2. Certificate Verification: Original certificates and testimonials will be verified during the interview process.
