Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
  • You must hold either a:
    • Graduate degree (B.E. / B.Tech.) in a relevant field from a recognized university/institute, with a first division and a valid GATE score.
    • OR
    • Postgraduate degree (M.E. / M.Tech.) in a relevant field from a recognized university/institute, with first division in both graduate and postgraduate levels. (GATE scores from the last three years – 2022, 2023, and 2024 – are acceptable.)
• Age Limit: As of July 31st, 2024, you must be 28 years old or younger. Age relaxation is available for candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST and OBC) as per Government of India regulations (5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC).

Benefits and Compensation:

As a DRDO GTRE JRF, you will be offered a competitive stipend of:

• Rs. 37,000/- per month for the first and second year.
• Rs. 42,000/- per month for the third year (if upgraded to SRF).
