The Commandant of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, is seeking applications from eligible Indian citizens for the Group ‘C’ Civilian post outlined below:

1. Multi Tasking Staff – (Office and Training)

• Pay Level: Level 1 (as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix) with a salary range of Rs 18000-56900/-
• Number of Vacancies & Reservations: 06 total vacancies, with reservations as follows:

• UR: 03
• OBC: 01
• SC: 01
• ST: 01
• EWS: —

• Age: Between 18 to 25 years

2. Educational Qualification & Experience:

• Multi Tasking Staff – Office & Training: Applicants must have passed Matriculation or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/Institute.
• Note: The duties of the MTS trade encompass various physical tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, loading, unloading, gardening, and night watch duties.

General Instructions for Applicants:

3. Age Limit: The age limit for the post is as mentioned in the table above. The crucial date for determining the age limit is the last date of application, i.e., March 30, 2024.

4. Age Relaxation:

a) Relaxation in age is applicable:

• Three years for OBC candidates
• Five years for SC and ST candidates
• Ten years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) (15 years for SCs/STs and 13 years for OBCs)
• Ex-Servicemen who have served a minimum of 06 months of continuous service in the Armed Forces can deduct the full period of such service from their actual age. If the resultant age doesn’t exceed the maximum age limit by more than three years, they are deemed within the age limits.

(b) Departmental Employees: The age limit is 40 years for general categories and 45 years for SC/ST candidates.

(c) OBC/SC/ST candidates applying against UNRESERVED POST are not entitled to any relaxation in age limit or experiences.

5. Reservation (SC/ST/OBC):

(a) SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against reserved categories must submit a valid certificate.

(b) OBC candidates must submit a valid certificate confirming their Non-creamy Layer status issued by the Competent Authority. Reservation is applicable to OBC candidates who do not fall under the Creamy Layer.
