Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Junior Clerk (Direct Recruitment): Candidates must have completed 10+2 with 50% marks or possess a Graduate degree or above from a recognized University. However, candidates must have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from a school or institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. This condition does not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
2. Junior Clerk (PACS Quota):

2. Candidates should have completed 10+2 with 50% marks or possess a Graduate degree or above from a recognized University. The same condition regarding passing Matriculation and 10+2 from within Himachal Pradesh applies.
3. A minimum of continuous 5 years of service as Secretary, as defined in Rule 2 (vii) of the H.P. Cooperative Societies Rules, 1971, of Primary Agriculture Credit Society is required. For candidates with a Graduate Degree, the required experience is three years instead of five.
4. Age limit: Below 45 years as of 01.01.2024.
5. All employees of PACS covered under the definition of “trained Secretaries” are eligible.

4. A minimum of continuous 7 years of service in a cooperative society is required. For candidates with a Graduate Degree, the required experience is five years instead of seven.
5. Age limit: Below 45 years as of 01.01.2024.
6. All employees of other cooperative societies and employees of PACS not covered under the definition of “trained Secretaries” are eligible.

Age Limit:

• Candidates must be above 18 years and below 45 years of age.
• For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years. Ex-Servicemen and other reserved categories will have usual relaxation in the upper age limit for recruitment on the pattern of State Government.

Salary Details:

• Pay Scale: Minimum Pay of Rs. 19900/- (level-2)
• Approx. Total Emoluments: Rs. 26600 + admissible allowances per month.
