Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Engine Driver: Matriculation pass and certificate of competency as Engine Driver. Desirable: Two years’ service as Sarang on a vessel of over four hundred Boat Horse Power.
• Lascar: Matriculation or equivalent pass. Experience: Two years experience in Service on Boat.
• Draughtsman: Diploma in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture and Ship Construction, or certificate in Draughtsmanship in any of these disciplines. Desirable: One year experience in the concerned field.
• Fireman/Mech Fireman: Matriculation pass. Other Qualifications: Physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.
• Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG): 10th standard pass and valid driving license for both heavy and light Motor Vehicles. Experience: At least two years experience in driving Motor Vehicles and knowledge of motor mechanism.
• Multi Tasking Staff (Mali): Matriculation or equivalent pass. Experience: Two years experience as Mali in any nursery or organization.
• Multi Tasking Staff (Chowkidar): Matriculation or equivalent pass. Experience: Two years experience as Chowkidar in any recognized institution or organization.
• Motor Transport Fitter: Matriculation or equivalent pass and two years experience in automobile workshop. Desirable: I.T.I. diploma in relevant trade.
• Electrical Fitter (Skilled): Matriculation or equivalent pass and completion of apprenticeship training or training courses in the relevant trade. OR Minimum Four years experience in the trade for which no training is available in the Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) or other recognized institutions. Should qualify a trade entrance examination.
• Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Fitter (Skilled): Matriculation or equivalent pass and completion of apprenticeship training or training courses in the relevant trade. OR 4 years experience in the trade for which no training is available in the Industrial Training Institutes or other recognized institutions. Should qualify a trade entrance examination.  
• Unskilled Labour: Matriculation (10th) Pass or ITI. Experience: Three years experience in the trade.

• Lascar: 18 to 30 Years (For UR)
• Draughtsman: 18 to 25 Years (For UR)
• Fireman/Mech Fireman: 18 to 27 Years (For OBC)
• Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG): 18 to 30 Years
• Multi Tasking Staff (Mali): 18 to 27 Years (For UR)
• Multi Tasking Staff (Chowkidar): 18 to 27 Years (For UR)
• Motor Transport Fitter: 18 to 27 Years (For ST)
• Electrical Fitter (Skilled): 18 to 32 Years (For OBC)
