Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

• Engine Driver:
  • Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or equivalent
  • Certificate of competency as Engine Driver from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent  
  • Desirable: Two years’ service as Sarang on a vessel of over four hundred Boat Horse Power  
• Lascar: Matriculation or equivalent pass and two years of experience in boat service
• Draughtsman: Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Ship Construction from a recognized institution or certificate in Draughtsmanship in any of the above-mentioned disciplines from an industrial training institute. Desirable: One year of experience in the relevant field.
• Fireman/Mech Fireman: Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or equivalent and physically fit to perform strenuous duties.
• Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG): 10th standard pass with a valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles and two years of driving experience.
• Multi Tasking Staff (Mali): Matriculation or equivalent pass and two years of experience as a Mali in a nursery or organization.
• Multi Tasking Staff (Chowkidar): Matriculation or equivalent pass and two years of experience as a Chowkidar in a recognized institution or organization.
• Motor Transport Fitter: Matriculation or equivalent pass and two years of experience in an automobile workshop. Desirable: ITI diploma in a relevant trade.
• Electrical Fitter (Skilled): Matriculation or equivalent pass, apprenticeship training in Electrical/Fitter trade, or ITI training in Electrical Fitter trade with one year of experience, or four years of experience in the trade. Must qualify a trade entrance examination.
• Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Fitter (Skilled): Matriculation or equivalent pass, apprenticeship training in ICE Fitter trade, or ITI training in ICE Fitter trade with one year of experience, or four years of experience in the trade. Must qualify a trade entrance examination.
• Unskilled Labour: Matriculation (10th) Pass or ITI and three years of experience in the trade.
