Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Store Keeper Grade-II:
  • 12th Pass from a recognized Board or University.
  • One year’s experience in handling stores from a recognized firm or government organization.
• Engine Driver:
  • Matriculation (10th) pass or equivalent.
  • Certificate of competency as Engine Driver.
  • Desirable: Two years service as Sarang on a vessel of over 400 Boat Horsepower.
• Sarang Lascar:
  • Matriculation pass or equivalent.
  • Certificate of Competency as Sarang or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Two years experience as Sarang-in-Charge of a vessel of 20 Horsepower.
• Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade):
  • 10th Standard pass.
  • Valid driving license for HMV and LMV.
  • At least two years experience in driving Motor Vehicles.
  • Knowledge of Motor Mechanism.
• Lascar Ist Class:
  • Matriculation or equivalent pass.
  • Three years service on a Ship or Craft.
• Multi-Tasking Staff (Peon):
  • Matriculation or equivalent pass.
  • Two years experience as Office Attendant.
• Rigger:
  • Matriculation or equivalent.
  • Trade entrance examination qualification.
  • Apprenticeship or ITI in relevant trade with experience, or four years experience in the trade.

Age Limit (as on 28.10.2024):

• Store Keeper Grade-II: 18-25 years
• Engine Driver: 18-30 years
• Sarang Lascar: 18-30 years
• Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade): 18-27 years
• Lascar Ist Class: 18-30 years
• Multi-Tasking Staff (Peon): 18-27 years
• Rigger: 18-27 years

Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:

• SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
• OBC Candidates: 3 years
• PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Candidates: 10 years
• PwBD (SC/ ST) Candidates: 15 years
• PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years
• Ex-Servicemen Candidates: As per Govt. Policy
