• Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: 2 posts
• Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel: 4 posts

Eligibility Criteria:

Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel:

• At least seven years of experience in criminal law practice
• Excellent understanding of criminal law
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in legal research and a deep understanding of ethical duties of defense counsel
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others
• Must have handled at least 20 criminal trials in Sessions Court
• IT knowledge with proficiency in work

Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel:

• At least 1-3 years of experience in criminal law practice
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Complete understanding of ethical duties of defense counsel
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others
• Excellent writing and research skills
• IT knowledge with proficiency in work  

Office Assistant/Clerk:

• Graduation
• Basic word processing skills and ability to operate a computer
• Typing speed of 40 WPM
• Ability to take dictation and enter data
• Knowledge of file maintenance and processing

Office Peon (Munshi/Attendant):

• Pass 8th or 10th Standard
• Capability to clean and perform hospitality-related tasks
• Ability to clean the office before the commencement of office hours
• Willingness to perform any other assigned tasks by the Legal Services Authority

Salary Details:

• Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 60,000/- per month
• Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel: Rs. 20,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- per month
• Office Assistant/Clerk: Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 20,000/- per month
• Office Peon (Munshi/Attendant): Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 12,000/- per month
