Eligibility Criteria:

1. Consultant:

• Educational Qualification:

• Essential: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or Microbiology, or a Master’s degree in a relevant subject with a first division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA, along with at least 3 years of research experience.
• Desirable: Experience in molecular diagnostics and publications in relevant peer-reviewed international journals.

• Age Limit: 35 years for males and 40 years for females.

2. Junior Consultant:

• Educational Qualification:

• Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science (4 years) or Master’s degree in Life Sciences.
• Desirable: Experience, training, or publications in aquatic animal health.

• Age Limit: 35 years for males and 40 years for females.

3. Young Professional-II:

• Educational Qualification:

• Essential: Master’s degree in Fisheries Science with specialization in Aquaculture, Aquatic Animal Health Management, Fish Pathology and Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related subjects. Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Life Sciences with two years of research experience in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or Biotechnology.
• Desirable: Research publications in peer-reviewed international journals in fish health and field experience in aquaculture management.

• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years.

4. Young Professional-I:

• Educational Qualification:

• Essential: B.F.Sc. degree with at least a first division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.
• Desirable: Minimum one year of working experience in fish breeding, larval rearing, aquaculture, and pond management.

• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years.

5. Project Associate-I:

• Educational Qualification:

• Essential: M.F.Sc. with specialization in fisheries resource management, fish genetics and breeding, fish biotechnology, aquatic animal health, fish pathology and microbiology, or related fields. Alternatively, an M.Sc. in marine biology, ocean science and technology, zoology, biological sciences, or life sciences.
• Desirable: Working knowledge in integrative fish taxonomy, fish cell culture, molecular techniques, field experience in marine exploration and documentation, and research publications in peer-reviewed international journals.

• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.

6. Technical Assistant:

• Educational Qualification:

• Essential: B.F.Sc., B.Sc. in Zoology, B.Voc. in Aquaculture or Biotechnology, B.E/B.Tech in Bioinformatics or Computer Science.
• Desirable: Experience in fish sampling and basic laboratory work, working knowledge in computer applications.

• Age Limit: Maximum 50 years.

Applicants can avail relaxation in the upper age limit as per the Government of India Rules.

Salary Details:

1. Consultant: Rs. 50,000/- (Fixed)
2. Junior Consultant: Rs. 30,000/- (Fixed)
3. Young Professional-II: Rs. 42,000/- (Fixed)
4. Young Professional-I: Rs. 30,000/- (Fixed)
5. Project Associate-I: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month
6. Technical Assistant: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA per month
