Eligibility Criteria:

1. Project Associate-I:

• Minimum prescribed educational qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.

• Desirable experience:

• Good understanding of chemical reaction engineering, chemical engineering thermodynamics, and transport phenomena.
• Experience in catalyst development, catalyst characterization, high-pressure hydrogenation, catalysis, fuels testing.
• Experience in process development and scale-up for at least 1 year in either an academic institute or industry.

2. Project Associate-I:

• Minimum prescribed educational qualifications:

• Master’s degree in inorganic chemistry from any recognized university or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.

• Desirable experience:

• Good understanding of inorganic materials synthesis for known and unknown reaction chemistries.
• Understanding of various catalyst materials for hydrogenation, dehydrogenation, aromatization, alkylation reactions, etc.
• Hands-on experience in the synthesis and analytical characterization of various catalyst materials.
• Experience in catalysis for at least 1 year in either an academic institute or industry.

Age Limit:

• For both Project Associate-I positions, the maximum age limit is 35 years.

Salary Details:

• Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or a selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
• Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others.
