The National Housing Bank (NHB), a leading organization in India’s housing sector, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Protocol Officer. 1. Job Description:

The Protocol Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of protocol and guest relations at NHB. Key duties and responsibilities may include:

• Coordinating the arrival, departure, and travel arrangements for visiting dignitaries, guests, and delegations.
• Overseeing the planning and execution of official events, conferences, and meetings.
• Managing and maintaining relationships with government officials, industry representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for guests and visitors.
• Ensuring adherence to NHB’s protocol guidelines and procedures.
• Managing correspondence related to protocol matters.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.
• Professional Qualification:
  • Retired officer from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Public Sector Banks (PSBs), or Financial Institutions (FIs) in India.
  • Minimum of 25 years of experience in RBI/PSBs/FIs, with at least 5 years of experience in Public Relations or Protocol duties.
  • Experience in senior management positions is highly preferred.
• Age Limit:
  • Minimum age: 50 years (as of August 1, 2024)
  • Maximum age: 62 years (as of August 1, 2024)
  • Relaxation in the upper age limit is available for reserved categories:
    • Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years
    • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 years
    • Persons with Disabilities (PwBD):
      • General/Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 10 years
      • SC/ST: 15 years
      • OBC: 13 years
    • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government Policy
• Salary Details: ₹ 1.00 lakh per month (consolidated)
