Eligibility Criteria:

1. Project Associate – II:

1. Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Physics from a recognized University or Equivalent with 2 years of research experience.
2. Desirable: Experience in electrochemical energy conversion or storage research.
3. Age Limit: 35 Years

2. Senior Project Associate:

2. Qualification: Ph.D. in Life Sciences from a recognized University or Equivalent.
3. Desirable: Experience in nano-biotechnology with expertise in nanoparticle synthesis, surface modification, and biochemical assays.
4. Age Limit: 40 Years

3. Project Associate – I:

3. Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Analytical/Applied Chemistry/Hydrochemistry from a recognized University or Equivalent.
4. Age Limit: 35 Years

4. Project Associate – I:

4. Qualification: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, MCA, B.E/B.Tech in Computer/Information Technology from a recognized University or Equivalent.
5. Desirable: Experience in Dot Net, MVC Framework, PHP, MySQL/SQL Server.
6. Age Limit: 35 Years

5. Project Associate – I:

5. Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Physics/Material Science from a recognized University or Equivalent.
6. Desirable: Experience in Computational Chemistry (Gaussian/Molecular level calculations).
7. Age Limit: 35 Years

Candidates Relaxation in the Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Refer to the NIIST official Notification 2024 for more details.

Salary Details:

1. Project Associate – II: Rs.28,000/- + 18% HRA
2. Senior Project Associate: Rs.42,000/- + 18% HRA
3. Project Associate – I: Rs.31,000/- + 18% HRA (with CSIR-UGC NET Score or GATE), Rs.25,000/- + 18% HRA (without CSIR-UGC NET Score or GATE)
4. Project Associate – I: Rs.25,000/- + 18% HRA
5. Project Associate – I: Rs.31,000/- + 18% HRA (with CSIR-UGC NET Score or GATE), Rs.25,000/- + 18% HRA (without CSIR-UGC NET Score or GATE)

Selection Process: Interested eligible candidates should report at CSIR-NIIST, Pappanamcode, Thiruvananthapuram at 09.00 AM on the specified dates for each post code. Candidates arriving after 09.30 AM will not be entertained. Only those with final results declared as of the interview date will be eligible.
