Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

• Scientist – VI: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Engineering or a relevant postgraduate degree. Candidates must have a proven track record of high-quality research demonstrated through publications in reputed journals and patents in related fields. Additionally, they require 12 years of post-qualification experience in relevant areas.
• Technician – I:
  • Option 1: Matriculation with Science stream followed by a two-year Full Time Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) and a minimum of two years of relevant experience after completing the MLT program.
  • Option 2: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree.
  • Option 3: Three-year Diploma in Engineering Technology.
  • Option 4: Matriculation with an ITI Certificate in a relevant trade and at least four years of relevant experience.
• Consultant (Engineer): Recently retired engineer from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) or any other Central/State/Autonomous Body with experience as a Site Engineer overseeing Civil/Electrical/AC & Refrigeration, maintenance, and other related works.
• Consultant (Procurement & Stores): Recently retired officer from the Central/State/Autonomous Body with expertise in all aspects of procurement and stores management as per Government Financial Rules (GFRs). This includes planning, drafting bid documents, bid evaluation, preparing award recommendations, contract drafting, handling GeM & CPPP platforms, liaising with procurement agents/companies, monitoring and reporting on procurement & contract management, and managing post-procurement procedures, documents, stores & inventory management, etc.

Age Limit (as on August 5th, 2024):

• Scientist – VI: 55 years
• Technician – I: 25 years

Age Relaxation:

• Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) Candidates: 5 years
• Other Backward Classes (OBC) Candidates: 3 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) (General/Economically Weaker Section (EWS)) Candidates: 10 years
• PwBD (SC/ST) Candidates: 15 years
• PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years

Salary Details:

• Scientist – VI: Rs.1,31,100 – Rs.2,16,600/- per month
• Technician – I: Rs.25,500 – 81,100/- per month
• Consultant (Engineer) & Consultant (Procurement & Stores): Contract-based positions with remuneration details not specified.
