Research Assistant:

• Essential Qualification: A minimum qualification of a Graduate degree in Science or a related subject from a recognized university with three years of work experience in a reputable institution. Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a relevant field can substitute for work experience.
• Desirable Qualification: Additional qualifications and two years of experience in the field of HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis are highly desirable. Furthermore, a Master’s degree in Public Health would significantly strengthen your application.

Laboratory Technician:

• Essential Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th grade in Science subjects and hold a two-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT). Alternatively, a one-year DMLT coupled with one year of relevant experience in a recognized organization or two years of combined field and laboratory experience can be considered. It’s important to note that a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) will be treated as equivalent to three years of experience.
• Desirable Qualification: Candidates who are open to relocation to the state of Rajasthan, if necessary, are preferred. It’s important to understand that there will be no additional field allowance provided for this location. However, candidates will eventually be transferred to the main campus in Pune.

Data Entry Operator:

• Essential Qualification: Candidates must have completed Intermediate/12th grade in Science from a recognized board and possess a DOECC ‘A’ level certificate from a recognized institute. Alternatively, two years of experience in Electronic Data Processing (EDP) work in a government, autonomous, Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), or any other recognized organization can be considered. Additionally, a speed test demonstrating proficiency of at least 8,000 key depressions per hour on a computer (with a certificate required) is mandatory.
• Desirable Qualification: Prior experience in data entry related to research projects or national health programs is highly valued. Additionally, experience in electronic data processing and proficiency in various computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint will be considered an advantage.

Age Considerations:

The maximum age limit for these positions is 30 years for Research Assistant and Laboratory Technician, and 28 years for Data Entry Operator (as of June 14th, 2024). However, relaxations in the upper age limit may be applicable as per Government of India rules. Here’s a breakdown of the age relaxation categories:

• Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) Candidates: 5 years
• Other Backward Classes (OBC) Candidates: 3 years
