Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Secretarial Assistant Apprentice: Any Graduate with basic English knowledge.
• Diploma Chemical Apprentice: Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
• Diploma Computer Apprentice: Diploma in Computer Engineering.
• Diploma Electrical Apprentice: Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Diploma Instrumentation Apprentice: Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
• Diploma Mechanical Apprentice: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant): Passed B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (Chemistry as a major subject).
• Electrician Apprentice: Passed 12th class examination with Science under the 10+2 system of education or equivalent.
• Horticulture Assistant Apprentice: Passed 12th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or equivalent.
• Instrument Mechanic (Chemical Plant) Apprentice: Passed B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (Physics as a major subject).
• Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant) Apprentice: Passed B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology only.

Age Limit

The upper age limit for all Apprentice positions is 25 years as of July 19, 2024. However, relaxations in the upper age limit are applicable for certain categories of candidates:

• SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
• OBC Candidates: 3 years
• PwBD (Gen/EWS) Candidates: 10 years
• PwBD (SC/ST) Candidates: 15 years
• PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years

Salary Structure

The monthly stipend for Apprentice positions varies based on the qualification level:

• Technician (vocational) apprentice or Vocational Certificate holder or Sandwich Course (Students from Diploma Institutions): Rs. 7000/- per month
• Technician apprentices or diploma holder in any stream or sandwich course (students from degree institutions): Rs. 8000/- per month
• Graduate apprentices or degree apprentices or degree in any stream: Rs. 9000/- per month

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for Apprentice positions will be based on a merit list followed by document verification.
