We are seeking a qualified Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team.

The ideal candidate will maintain professional certifications in BCP (DRII and/or ISO 22301) and be available 24/7/365 for major service-disrupting events.

In this role, you will drive the ongoing improvement of Sutherland’s Business Continuity Program by developing and delivering curricula based on internationally accepted standards for Business Continuity Management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and provide written Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans for all SGS global business operations, managing the document portfolio in the Fusion Risk Management tool to ensure accuracy and compliance with DRII/ISO 22301/ISO27001/BCI standards.
• Maintain and distribute site/regional dashboards relevant to Business Continuity Management (BCM) metrics.
• Conduct quarterly meetings with Senior Management to report on the Business Continuity Program status for accounts under your purview.
• Provide logistical support for the Crisis Management Team, including coordinating meetings, communications, and documenting events.
• Devise and implement cost-effective business resiliency strategies to ensure the organization’s survivability in the event of a catastrophic disruption of business operations. This includes developing strategies at the Enterprise, Regional, Site, and BOP Levels in response to disasters.
• Coordinate and conduct on-site Disaster Recovery test exercises to validate SGS’s ability to meet documented recovery objectives.
• Conduct Vulnerability Assessments as required for internal and mission-critical vendor facilities.

Qualifications:

• Provide on-site expertise/support to Service Delivery and Business Development for client visits in any/all of SGS’s facilities.
• Define, document, implement, and educate staff on processes and procedures for effective Incident Management.
• Coordinate the communication process during service-impacting events globally.
• Provide support to TCO to produce all documentation relative to outage events from detection to Root Cause Analysis upon request.
• Plan, execute, be on-site, document, and communicate all major Change Management events for Enterprise Systems, including developing impact mitigation strategies per individual client requirements, regardless of geographic location.
• Undertake ad-hoc Project Management responsibilities.
• Act as a liaison between IT and SGS management/Client management/Vendor management to communicate the status of mitigation strategies developed during the Root Cause Analysis documentation process.
• Collaborate with counterparts in SGS to facilitate a global standard for processes and procedures aligned with the strategic goals of SGS and meeting the requirements of the global client base.
