To be eligible for these roles, candidates must possess a full-time Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in the relevant discipline. Alternatively, a Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by a recognized University or institution is also accepted.

The stipend offered for Technician (Diploma) Apprentices is Rs. 8000/- per month. The selection process involves a merit list followed by certificate verification.

Candidates who are already enrolled in the National Web Portal  can log in, find the establishment, and apply by uploading their resume. Those who have not yet enrolled need to register as a student on the official National Web Portal , complete the application form, and obtain a unique Enrolment Number. After enrollment, they can log in, search for “TANGEDCO” under Apply against advertised vacancies, and click the apply link.

It’s crucial for candidates to provide their percentage of marks in the Engineering Graduate/Diploma Engineering/Non-Engineering Graduate Examination as it’s mandatory for consideration. This information should be entered in the NATS portal under the “Percentage of marks/CGPAx10” column.

Key dates to remember include the online application starting date on February 7, 2024, the last date for enrolling in the NATS portal to apply to “TANGEDCO” on February 20, 2024, the declaration of the shortlisted list on February 26, 2024, and the verification of certificates for shortlisted candidates from March 5, 2024, to March 8, 2024.
