Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is inviting applications for the following posts:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Project Associate-I:

1. Minimum Qualification and Experience: Master’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences with one year of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
2. Desirable Qualification & Experience: Basic knowledge of biochemical and molecular biology. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ELISA, PCR, qRT-PCR, Virus culture, IFA, virus neutralization assays, and/or working in a BSL-3 facility.

2. Research Associate I/II/III:

2. Minimum Qualification and Experience: PhD in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized University. At least one peer-reviewed article published in the field of metabolomics/lipidomics (as a first author).
3. Desirable Qualification & Experience: Expertise in LC/MS-based metabolomics/lipidomics, hands-on experience with post-acquisition spectrum processing and big data analysis, and small animal handling and routine molecular biology techniques.

3. Project Associate-II:

3. Minimum Qualification and Experience: Master’s degree/M.Tech/M Pharma or equivalent degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University with two years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
4. Desirable Qualification & Experience: Experience in isolation of DNA and RNA from clinical samples, PCR, qPCR, dPCR, next-generation sequencing, and analysis.

4. Principal Project Associate:

4. Minimum Qualification and Experience: M.Sc./B.Tech in Life Sciences with eight years of post-qualification research experience OR PhD in Life Sciences with four years of post-qualification experience.
5. Desirable Qualification & Experience: Analysis of bacterial, fungal, and viral metagenomic sequences, whole genome sequence assembly, annotation, phylogenetic analysis of bacterial and fungal isolates, and evaluation of virulence and resistance functions in NGS reads.

Age Limit:

1. Project Associate-I – 35 years
2. Research Associate I/II/III – 35 years (RA-I), 40 years (RA-II/III)
3. Project Associate-II – 35 years
4. Principal Project Associate – 40 years (Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.)

Salary Details:

• Project Associate-I – Rs. 44,200/-
• Research Associate I/II/III – Depending upon experience
• Project Associate-II – Rs. 35,000/- (NET/GATE qualified), Rs. 28,000/- (Others)
• Principal Project Associate – Rs. 49,000/-

Selection Process:

THSTI may conduct a walk-in for a written test/skill test followed by an interview.
